Welcome to the South London CVS Partnership. Formed in 2001 the Partnership works to support the voluntary and community sector to develop and improve its contribution to the lives of local people in south London.
The Partnership covers the geographical sub-region of the London boroughs of Bromley, Croydon, Kingston-upon-Thames, Merton, Richmond-upon-Thames and Sutton. Its activities are governed by the Directors of the local Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS) and it is supported by a Partnership Manager and two part-time staff, a Development Worker and an Administrator.
Through our work, we aim to ensure that the voluntary and community sector has effective local representation and that everyone is able to share best practice, skills and expertise. Also, that relationships are made with the regional bodies to promote the interests of the 6 CVS and their members, and to access funding to improve and increase VCS services across the sub-region.
The Partnership now publishes an exciting new quarterly newletter, "Staying Connected." This promotes the Partnership and gives a broad overview of its work. To download a copy of the latest issue which focuses on the new legal status of the South London CVS Partnership.
