Jacqui Finn Partnership Manager

I joined the SLCVS Partnership in February 2002 as the Regional Coordinator and became Partnership Manager in March 2005..

Role: My role is primarily two-fold:

Firstly to support the Partnership in building effective links and sustainable financial relationships between the V & C sector and key regional / sub-regional governance, policy and grant making / funding bodies

Secondly to promote an understanding of the role of regional / sub-regional bodies among front line voluntary organisations and to coordinate the uptake by V & C organisations of funding programmes, specialist help services and financial and in-kind resources.

Background: My previous experience has been as Deputy Director of Voluntary Action Camden (the CVS for Camden); Community Development Worker for the Refugee Council and housing and special projects officer for an East London housing association. I also spent 3 years as a volunteer community worker in Pakistan. Through my work I have gained extensive knowledge of community development, the valuable role and contribution communities and their organisations play in building a healthy society for all and the increasing importance of cross-sector partnership, working to enable everyone in society to improve their lives and achieve their aspirations.

Michelle Jayman Development Worker

I joined the SLCVS Partnership in October 2003 as a part-time support worker. Since then my role has grown and developed.

Role: I am involved in a range of activities, including organising and facilitating events and workshops, communicating and promoting Partnership Projects and providing general support to the Regional co-ordinator.

Background : My previous professional background is in Event Management both in the private and charity sector in the UK and abroad. I have also worked extensively with young people, primarily in a teaching capacity in Spain and more recently, providing careers advice and guidance working for Connexions in SW London.

Tracey Dawson Administrator

Background:I joined the SLCVS Partnership in July 2004, having previously worked for six months at Richmond CVS as PA to the Chief Executive & Clerk to the Board of Trustees.

Prior to that I have spent my working life in the legal field,the last 13 years of which working as litigation manager in the legal department of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, where I co-ordinated 9 litigation lawyers and dealt with court cases relating to housing, education & social services.
