The South London Learning Partnership

The South London Learning Partnership (SLLP) was developed to represent organisations with an interest in promoting learning to young people and adults. It is committed to widening participation in all types of learning to encourage a learning community across South London. It aims to achieve this through collaboration and partnership between a wide range of organisations.

The Partnership is open to any organisation involved in learning and key ones include: Further Education Colleges, Local Education Authorities, Adult Education Services, Connexions, Careers Services, Schools, 6th Form Colleges, Higher Education Institutions, Libraries, Community and Voluntary Groups, Youth Services, Employment Service, Learning and Skills Council, private Training Providers, Unions, Chambers of Commerce, Employers.

The SLLP Partnership is funded by London South LSC. The SLLP also manages a number of projects to support particular areas of collaboration in learning. The South London CVS Partnership works with the SLLP in different ways. The Regional Coordinator is a member of the SLLP Board and its steering group and Chairs the Adult & Community Learning Task Group. The CVS Partnership also disseminates SLLP information to the wider sector and encourages voluntary and community sector organisations to participate in SLLP task group meetings and training events. The CVS Partnership also coordinated the first production of the Employer's guide, 'Signpost to Learning'.
